PG&E and SCE are collaborating with the Kern Council of Governments to provide energy surveys and free installation of energy efficient measures for small businesses in designated areas. On-site energy surveys will be scheduled through the Kern County Energy Watch Office for qualified small businesses. The energy survey can help identify ways that businesses can address immediate energy savings by implementing no-cost and low-cost actions and will recommend energy efficiency improvements that may add to their overall savings.

Businesses may be eligible to receive:
FREE Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs), electronic ballasts, light emitting diodes (LED) exit signs, air conditioning tune-ups, refrigerator gaskets and strip curtains, vending machine controllers and more.
